The ToolingShuttle System (TSS) is a modular system to minimize changeover times of CrimpCenter fully automatic crimping (CST) machines and consists of the following main components: ToolingShuttle, ShuttleRack and CrimpCenter.

Application Range
The ToolingShuttle System (TSS) is a modular system to minimize downtime of CrimpCenter fully automatic crimping machines related to the exchange of crimp applicators and terminal reels. While the CrimpCenter is producing, the crimp applicator and the terminal reel for the next job can be set up on a ToolingShuttle and the paper winder can be loaded. Quality checks can be performed to ensure the next application will be fully set up and confirmed before the material is required at the machine. Changeover of UniCrimp crimping stations on CrimpCenter machines is accomplished with a pre-configured ToolingShuttle in less than 60 seconds using innovative Plug & Crimptechnology. No special handling knowledge is required. The ToolingShuttle System (TSS) accepts most standard crimping tools (mini-style applicators).
